Charlie hones his skills in the dairy industry
Charlie Darcy loves that he can work and earn money while he studies at South West TAFE.
“When I finished school I went to university to study a degree in agriculture, but realised it wasn’t the right path for me.
“I was working on the family farm and wanted to continue earning money while I studied,” he said.
Charlie completed the Certificate III in Agriculture last year before starting the Certificate IV in Agriculture at South West TAFE.
“I found the course to be so helpful. It was so specific to the dairy farming industry and I was able to put the knowledge I gained into my every day work on the farm which was great,” he said.
Charlie said he was now looking at the possibility of more study with an idea to manage his own farm one day down the track.
