Returning to study is one of the best decisions Emily made

“When I dropped my kids off at daycare and kinder each day, I loved the upbeat environment they were going into and decided in wanted more of that in my life,” she said.

Emily said it was the perfect time to return to study and with Early Childhood Education and Care being a Free TAFE course it was an even bigger incentive.

“The facilities at South West TAFE were brilliant with a great practical room and the teachers went above and beyond to help us succeed.

“It was a big decision to return to study but I’m glad I made it. I had so much support from both my family and the educators,” she said.

Emily said she had found her passion and had already started doing some relief shifts at a local centre.

She said she was excited to continue to gain as much experience as she could and one day would love to return to study and gain a position as a kindergarten teacher.
