Skyla gets a taste of a career in the health industry

“I thought this course would be a great first step towards achieving my goal of becoming an enrolled nurse,” she said.

Skyla said she had always wanted to work with people in the community and this course had helped her to start on the right path towards a career in the health industry.

“The course has provided me with a great opportunity to learn new skills and experience what a career in health might look like.

“My teachers have been extremely helpful and have taught me so much about the industry,” she said.

Skyla said she would recommend a VETDSS course to anyone who wanted to start their pathway into their chosen industry.

“In the future, I am hoping to complete year 12, study the Diploma of Nursing and eventually become an enrolled nurse,” she said.
