If you study at our Hamilton campus, you will be exposed to high-end vocational training and quality education programs. Three kilometres east of the city centre, the campus sits in a picturesque bush setting at the main entrance to the town with copious parking and the public bus service to the door.
The Skills and Jobs centre provides an independent service that can support you as you take the first steps in reimagining your future career. They have fully qualified career practitioners who will help you explore who you want to be in your working life and how to get there. The service is available on campus and the friendly reception staff can arrange an appointment for you.
The teaching and administration staff are available to provide important guidance, ensuring everyone is supported in deciding on the training most appropriate to them and aid in the application process.
The campus focuses on addressing industry needs of the health, agriculture, and early childhood sectors plus secondary school programs for young adults seeking an alternative to mainstream education. We also host secondary school students completing vocational training as a part of their VCE.
Learning is achieved through real life simulation and hands-on practical activities where possible, ensuring you are work-ready on completion of your course.
Recent refurbishment to the nursing/aged care training facilities has provided updated ICT and audio-visual equipment plus new nursing simulation mannequins, adding to the existing simulated clinical hospital ward, shower facilities, lifting equipment, procedure and medication rooms and a science lab for phlebotomy and catheter skill development.
Planned refurbishment to the Early Childhood Education and Care facility will create a classroom that can easily adapt to an early childhood play experience, a kitchenette for the preparation of appropriate meals and a secure outdoor space for a nature-based learning experience for children.
