A Free TAFE Pathways Program is a group of courses that complement each other to help you continue to train for the career and industry you may wish to work in.
For eligible students, these courses are tuition fee free. Depending on the course, you may still be required to pay material fees.
If you completed a Free TAFE course tuition fee free by accessing a JobTrainer place prior to 2023, you can access another tuition fee free place again in any of the Free TAFE courses or Free TAFE Pathway Program courses on offer. If you are unsure if you accessed a JobTrainer place, contact our team to check for you.
If you completed a Free TAFE course tuition fee free prior to 2023, you can still save on many of the courses on offer at South West TAFE by applying for a government-subsidised place or a concession rate.
Each course is listed under different pathways programs (eg community services, agriculture, etc.). Find the course you have completed with your Free TAFE place, you can apply to complete any other course within the same pathways program tuition fee free through the Free TAFE Pathways program.
